Magic of Thieves Review

Magic of Thieves - C. Greenwood

This book started out with some promise, but ended up being pretty disappointing by the end. There was hardly any magic, and not a ton of thieving, so I'm not really sure what the title is all about.

Plus, the writing style had a strange tone to it. There was something about it that just didn't sit well with me. Maybe her voice didn't mesh well with the age she was supposed to be in the story?

Anyway, there are three more books in this story, and while the descriptions sound like they might be good, I really can't bring myself to continue on with this one. :'(

Reading progress update: I've read 21%.

Magic of Thieves - C. Greenwood

Rideon considered me. There was no dislike in his eyes. To either like or dislike me wasn't worth his effort, any more than he would have troubled himself to bear ill will toward an ant.

Not sure how I'm feeling about this book just yet. There's something about the writing style that irks me, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
